Саженцы плодовых деревьев растут в течение 28 дней. Взрослые деревья производят по одному фрукту в день в сезон. Несобранный фрукт остаётся на дереве, так на нем может накопиться до трёх фруктов. Плодовые деревья не требуют полива и не погибают зимой. Саженцы растут в любое время года, что позволяет игроку подготовиться заранее.

Каждое плодовое дерево нужно сажать в центре области размером 3х3 клетки, чтобы оно хорошо росло. Эта область должна быть свободна от остальных предметов и растений, иначе дерево не будет расти. Обратите внимание, что у каждого плодового дерева должна быть своя такая область, области разных деревьев не могут перекрывать друг друга. Таким образом, ближайшее расстояние друг от друга для саженцев — это две клетки в каждом из направлений.

Землю для саженца не надо вскапывать. Когда дерево вырастет, клетки вокруг него можно замостить дорожками или покрытием. Плодовые деревья можно выращивать в теплице в почве или по её периметру.

Fruit Quality & Price

Fruit Tree fruit increases in quality by 1 star per year of tree age after reaching maturity. Fruit trees will produce silver star fruit after one year, and gold star fruit after two years. After the third year fruit trees produce iridium quality fruit.

Note that fruit quality will not increase if the surrounding tiles are not kept clear. Several players have reported that crafted floors and paths as well as grass do not hinder the progression of quality fruit.

Fruit Tree fruit receives the Tiller Profession crop price bonus when sold, and jelly, juice, or wine made from fruit tree fruits receive the Artisan Profession price bonus when sold.

Spring

Apricot and Cherry trees only produce fruit during the Spring season.

Planning and Planting Tips

If you intend to plant fruit trees to the east of the Greenhouse, take extra care to plan your layout. To the north of the Greenhouse there is one row of tiles, directly south of the rockface, that is darker-colored and untillable, but can be used as a walkway. The second row is ordinary tillable farmland. The Greenhouse sits atop the third row of tiles. To the east of the Greenhouse, two columns of tiles have grass and are untillable, and the third is ordinary tillable farmland, directly south of the cave entrance. In the fourth column east of the Greenhouse, and the third row south of the rockface then, you would expect to be able to plant a fruit tree, according to the normal spacing rules. However, the game refuses to allow a fruit tree planting on the particular tile at their intersection. Either of the tiles to the east or south of this one are allowable. (Ordinary trees can be planted on that tile.)

Be sure your layout will allow the planting of all your intended fruit trees where you want them to be, especially if you plant them at various times, since otherwise, this anomaly can disrupt your plans and layout. Remember that, once planted, a fruit tree cannot be removed except by cutting it down (destroying it and sacrificing the investment).

Placing paths: If you place paths while the trees are still growing (before they produce fruit), it will not allow the trees to grow. Wait until after they produce fruit to place any paths/flooring and keep the ground clear in order to allow fruit trees to grow quickly.
