*The player can also use [[Challenge Bait]], as catching 3 Squid at once means the player only has to hook Squid 3 times on the 12th and 4 times on the 13th to obtain all of the rewards. However, as Squid is a relatively difficult fish, the player should be comfortable getting perfect catches on Squids.
*The player can use [[Cork Bobber]]s or Fishing [[Buff]]s to increase the size of the fishing bar, making it less likely for the Squid to leave the fishing bar.
